Veteran Nigerian female singer, songwriter and actress Tiwatope Omolara Savage who’s popularly known as Tiwa Savage emerges the musical scene with a sizzling track which is dubbed “Gara” featuring famous singer, Ayra Starr.
Tiwa Savage moved to London at the age of 11 to complete her high school, despite being born in Isale Eko. She started her music career five years later, providing backing vocals for singers like Mary J. Blige and George Michael.
Moreover, 2009 saw Savage graduate from Berklee College of Music, compete on The X Factor UK, and acquire a publishing contract with Sony/ATV Music Publishing.
Furthermore, In 2012, Savage returned to Nigeria and secured a record deal with Mavin Records, motivated by the expansion of the country’s music industry. She was featured on the 2012 compilation album Solar Plexus by the company.
